At the end of January 10, 2023, the international conference on Data Science in Business, Finance, and Industry (DSBFI) finished at the University of Dong A, Da Nang city.

The conference is 2nd held by University of Dong A and the International Society of Science and Applied Technologies – ISSAT after the success of the Conference in 2019.

The purpose of conference is to maintain the regular academic forums to connect extensively with national and international research scholars; strengthen scientific research activities and academic exchanges among the staff of Dong A University and between Dong A University and domestic and foreign universities and research institutes as well as contribute to introduce the development trends of science and technology and put new research results into practice.

There was a total of 39 papers in 7 sessions presented at the DSBFI. They were as follows:

• SESSION 4: Quantitative Modeling and Methods in Data Science - Chair: Prof. Kim Phuc Tran (University of Lille, ENSAIT, GEMTEX, F-59000 Lille, France): 6 papers
• SESSION 5 (Online): Feature Selection and Big Data Analytics - Chair: Prof. Xufeng Zhao (Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, China): 5 papers
• SESSION 6 (Online): Modeling and Applications in Finance and Industry - Chair: Prof. Xufeng Zhao (Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, China): 6 papers.
• SESSION 7 (Online): Performance Monitoring in Business and Industry - Chair: Prof. Partha Sarathi Mukherjee (Indian Statistical Institute, India): 6 papers.

At the closing ceremony, the Conference Chairs – Prof. Hoang Pham (ISSAT) and Ph.D. Nguyen Thi Anh Dao thanked the speakers and announced the awards:
