Prof. Frédéric Vanderhaegen, a senior member of International Chair in DS and XAI was honored among the World’s Top 2% Scientists from 2020 to 2024
The International Research Institute for Artificial Intelligence and Data Science (IAD) is proud to announce that Professor Frédéric Vanderhaegen, Senior Member of the International Chair in Data Science and Explainable AI (DS&XAI), has been continuously ranked among the World’s Top 2% most influential scientists from 2020 to 2024, according to the widely cited global ranking released annually by Stanford University and Elsevier.

This recognition reflects not only Professor Vanderhaegen’s exceptional contributions to advancing knowledge in data science, human–system interaction, cognitive engineering, and explainable artificial intelligence (XAI), but also his long-standing dedication to developing impactful research with high international visibility. His works have significantly influenced both theoretical foundations and practical applications, contributing to safer, more reliable, and more human-centered intelligent systems.
