Dr. Wei Lin Teoh, currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the School of Mathematical and Computer Sciences at Heriot-Watt University Malaysia (HWUM), boasts an impressive academic background and a distinguished career in the field of Applied Statistics. She earned her Ph.D. in Applied Statistics in 2013 from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), setting the stage for her subsequent contributions to the realm of statistical process control and statistical quality control. 

In recognition of her outstanding contributions, Dr. Wei Lin Teoh was honoured with the MIMOS Prestigious Award in 2013, a testament to her significant impact on academia and innovation in the nation. Her research prowess is evidenced by her authorship or co-authorship of over 80 papers published in reputable peer-reviewed international journals and proceedings of international conferences. Notably, a significant number of these publications find their place in first quartile (Q1) journals indexed in the Web of Science (WoS) database, showcasing the high quality and impact of her work.

Dr. Wei Lin Teoh has also earned distinction through her Google Scholar and Scopus h-index, with an impressive count of 15 (in 2023). This numerical representation serves as a clear indicator of the substantial influence and citation impact resulting from her notable research outputs. Her editorial contributions include serving as an Associate Editor of the Journal of Statistical Computation and Simulation, a prestigious journal published by Taylor & Francis and indexed in both the WoS and SCOPUS databases. Her research network is extensive, comprising a considerable group of collaborators from diverse geographical locations, including Malaysia, France, Italy, China, India, etc.

As a principal investigator or co-investigator, Dr. Wei Lin Teoh has been involved in numerous external and internal grants focused on developing novel control charting methods and their applications in the manufacturing industries.
