Assoc. Prof. Wei Lin Teoh

Dr. Wei Lin Teoh currently serves as an Associate Professor in the School of Information Technology, Monash University Malaysia, Selangor, Malaysia. She possesses a strong academic background and an accomplished career in Applied Statistics, with a particular focus on Statistical Process Control and Statistical Quality Control.

Dr. Teoh earned her PhD in Applied Statistics in 2013 from Universiti Sains Malaysia, laying the foundation for her impactful contributions to statistical methodologies and their applications in manufacturing and quality improvement. In recognition of her exceptional achievements, she was honoured with the MIMOS Prestigious Award in 2013, underscoring her influence on both academia and national innovation.

Her research excellence is reflected in her extensive publication record, comprising over 100 papers in reputable peer-reviewed international journals and conference proceedings. A significant proportion of these works appear in first quartile (Q1) journals indexed in the Web of Science (WoS), attesting to the quality and global impact of her research.

Dr. Teoh also plays an active role in scholarly publishing as an Associate Editor for the Journal of Statistical Computation and Simulation, a leading journal published by Taylor & Francis and indexed in WoS and SCOPUS. Her collaborative research network spans multiple countries, including Malaysia, France, Italy, China, Bangladesh, and India, fostering international partnerships and knowledge exchange.
