Cooperation in training medical doctors for international students at Dong A University

Dong A University officially signed an agreement with Aieraa Overseas Studies (India) to cooperate in receiving international students to study the Medical Doctor training program at the school starting from the 2025-2026 academic year.

The signing ceremony of cooperation between Dong A University and Aieraa Overseas Studies (India) opens up opportunities to access quality medical education in Vietnam through the Medical Doctor training program at Dong A University.

This cooperation also marks a new development step of international cooperation in the field of medical training at Dong A University.

The signing ceremony was held in person and online with the participation of representatives of the two sides. On the side of Dong A University, there was Mr. Luong Minh Sam - Chairman of the University Council, Dr. Do Trong Tuan - Permanent Vice President of the school and on the side of Aieraa Overseas Studies, there was Ms. Ranganathan Deepa - Director and President.

Notably, the ceremony was witnessed by Mr. Tran Nguyen Minh Thanh - Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training of Da Nang City, Dr. Quach Huu Trung - Director of Hospital 199 - Ministry of Public Security and former Vietnamese Ambassador to India - Mr. Pham Sanh Chau (attending online).

According to the agreement, Dong A University will be the unit to receive and train medical students from countries such as India, Nepal, Iran, Sri Lanka, Middle Eastern countries, Africa and many other Asian countries starting from the 2025-2026 academic year. Accordingly, Aeiraa Overseas Studies will directly select at least 50 students who meet the criteria to study in Vietnam. This is a great opportunity for international students to pursue their dream of becoming doctors in an international learning environment with high-quality teaching at Dong A University.

At the same time, the cooperation between Dong A University and Aieraa Overseas Studies also extends to scientific research and international exchange activities. Both sides are committed to promoting exchange programs for students, lecturers, researchers and jointly organizing other academic seminars and conferences. The implementation of collaborative research projects between the two sides will help improve the quality of education and contribute to the overall development of the health sector.

During this visit and working session at Dong A University, the leaders of Aieraa Overseas Studies also discussed with the school's Board of Directors about specific activities to be implemented since the cooperation agreement was just signed.
