The "Impressions of China" Short Video Contest, launched by the Consulate General of China in Da Nang and held from May to August 2025, attracted 126 entries nationwide.

At the awarding ceremony, Dong A University Chinese Language students were honored with three prizes.

Specifically, the Second Prize was awarded to Le Huynh Mai Trang, a second-year student from the Faculty of Chinese Language & Culture, for her work “Colors of China”.

Two Third Prizes were presented to the following entries:

• “Sowing Language, Reaping Peace” by the team of Nguyen Thi Kieu Vi and Tran Thi Thuy Truyen, second-year students of the Faculty of Chinese Language & Culture, Dong A University.

• “Study Abroad Diary - China-Vietnam Impressions · 印象中国” by the team of Ho Thi Hoa, Ho Thi Thu Hang, Le Thu Hoai, Tran Thi Thuy Hang and Pham Thi An Binh, first-year students of the Faculty of Chinese Language & Culture, Dong A University.

It is noteworthy that the first-year student group winning the Third Prize had just returned from a one-semester study program at Kunming Huawen University, supported by full scholarships jointly awarded by Dong A University and its partners.

In 2024, Dong A University Chinese Language students had also achieved multiple awards at the "China-Vietnam Friendship Talent Hunt" Short Video Contest, organized by the Consulate General of China in Da Nang.

The "Impressions of China" Short Video Contest was initiated by the Consulate General of China in Da Nang to commemorate the 75th anniversary of China-Vietnam diplomatic relations. The contest also marked a Year of People-to-People Exchange, aiming to strengthen mutual understanding, promote traditional friendship, and jointly build a China-Vietnam Community with a Shared Future.
