Students of Dong A University have just won 3 Science and Technology Awards for students in higher education institutions nationwide in 2024.
On November 9, in Ho Chi Minh City, the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET), the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST), the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the Vietnam Fund for Supporting Technical Creativity - VIFOTEC jointly organized the Closing Ceremony and presented the Science and Technology Awards to young lecturers and students in higher education institutions in 2024.
The topics participating in the award are divided into 6 fields, including: Natural sciences, engineering and technology, medical sciences, agricultural sciences, social sciences and humanities. In which, the topics of students are the competition from 95 universities across the country.
This year, Dong A University participated in the award with 3 topics, and all 3 were excellently listed in the Final Award list.
Accordingly, 01 Third Prize belongs to the topic "Research, design and manufacture of Hydrogen gas production equipment and installation solutions to convert motorbikes using gasoline to using Hydrogen" by a group of students from the Faculty of Automotive Engineering.
Along with that, 02 Encouragement Prizes were "named" for the topic "Building an automatic management and care system for plants" - Group of students from the Faculty of Information Technology; and the topic "Survey on creating color for dry pho noodles using anthocyanin extract from purple leaves (Peristrophe bivalvis (L) Merr.)" - Group of students from the Faculty of Food.
It is known that the Science and Technology Award for young lecturers and students in higher education institutions in 2024 is organized to honor outstanding achievements in scientific research, encourage young lecturers and students to participate in scientific research, contribute to improving the quality of training and fostering young scientific talents in higher education institutions.
Through the award, scientific research activities of lecturers and students across the country are promoted, aiming to search for and discover new topics that can be applied in practice.
