This is also the 7th year that the National Qualifier for the Microsoft Office Specialist World Championship in the Central - Central Highlands region was held at Dong A University.

It is known that more than 2,000 young IT talents selected from nearly 200 teams nationwide have officially competed in the National Qualifying Round of World Office Computing Championship - Viettel 2024 (MOSWC - VIETTEL 2024 ). In particular, at Dong A University exam site, on March 17, there were more than 300 candidates from schools, colleges, and universities in the Central of Vietnam - Central Highlands region participating in the exam.

This year, the Dong A University team of 10 candidates continued to choose the English test in 2 content areas: Word and Excel. As a result, 8/10 students scored over 700 points - the score to receive Microsoft's global MOSWC certificate.

Among them, 3 students scored over 900 points: Nguyen Huu Hoang - 976 points in MS Word 2019 content, Ho Thien Ngan - 953 points in MS Word 2019 content and Trinh Thi Thu Trang - 925 points in MS content Excel 2019.

It is known that the 2024 World Office Informatics Championship will have a change in contest content. Specifically, this year's contest deploys 2 versions including Microsoft Office 2019 and Microsoft 365 Apps; Each version includes 3 contents: Word, Excel, Powerpoint.

When participating in the MOSWC 2024 playground, candidates who score 700 points or more will receive an international certificate in Office Information Technology signed by the General Director of Microsoft and valid indefinitely globally. After the national competition round, the Organizing Committee will select the 6 best young IT talents nationwide to be awarded the title of MOS Vietnam Ambassador and gain the right to compete in the World Finals taking place at the end of July/ 2024 in Anaheim, California, USA.
