On May 20, the final round of the 2025 Scientific Research Student Contest of Dong A University officially took place with the participation of 45 topics.
Starting from December 2024, the 11th Scientific Research Student Contest of Dong A University attracted the participation of 561 students with 172 research topics from 17 faculties of the university. Over the past 6 months from incubating ideas, training sessions on scientific research for students by field, implementing and perfecting topics, preliminary rounds, and final rounds are the presence of 45 topics in 3 fields of Engineering – Health, Language, etc socio-economic.
The final of the 11th Scientific Research Student Contest of Dong A University witnessed explosive competitions and debates from 45 outstanding topic groups. In which, it is divided into 3 councils with: 24 topics in the socio-economic council, 9 topics in the Technical and Health Council, 12 topics in the Language Council.
According to a representative of the Organizing Committee, the topics participating in season 11 are highly appreciated for their diversity of fields, research topics, creative and new solutions from the perspective of students on highly practical social issues. Through the qualifying round, the University's Scientific Research Council has selected 45 outstanding topics from 173 students to participate in the final round of the school.
In particular, this year's final is also a "race" of ideas and topics that exploit AI technology and the applications of AI in developing highly practical topics serving in socio-economic aspects, community tourism, health tourism or useful products for health. In addition, many topics are considered new, associated with the pace of digital technology, current issues on sustainable development that can be applied to serve the community and start-ups.
Some topics are practical applications with AI integration such as: Application of AI technology integration to provide information and exchange accommodation for tourists in Hue and Da Nang; Application of technology of industry 4.0 to serve the development of health tourism in Da Nang city; Research on factors affecting the intention to use automated delivery robots in last-mile delivery of consumers in Da Nang; Research on the impact of virtual try-on technology on consumers' purchase intentions: applied to makeup cosmetics; Factors affecting the organization of corporate accounting in the digital transformation period in Da Nang city;
The topics are actual product studies that also attract attention such as: Research on the preparation of Ibuprofen cream 5%; Research on the preparation of Curcumin 95% cream and Vitamin E; Develop and apply a method for quantifying Methylparaben preservatives by high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC); Surveying a number of factors affecting the processing of bottled purple velvet tea; Assessment of total flavonoid content on a number of vegetables grown in Da Nang and Quang Nam localities;
Within the framework of the contest, a science and technology exhibition space was also held in the lobby with posters of the topics and research results participating in this year's contest.
It is expected that the announcement and award ceremony of the 11th Scientific Research Student Contest of Dong A University will take place on June 10. The total prize value is up to 80 million VND, distributed according to potential fields and product groups.
