On May 20, the final round of the 2025 Dong A University Student Scientific Research Competition officially took place with the participation of 45 competing topics.
Launched in December 2024, the 11th Dong A University Student Scientific Research Competition attracted the participation of 561 students with 172 research topics from 17 faculties of the university. After more than 6 months of nurturing ideas, training sessions on scientific research for students by field, implementing and completing topics, the preliminary round, and the final round were the participation of 45 topics in 3 fields: Engineering - Health, Language, and Economics - Society.

The final round of the 11th Dong A University Student Scientific Research Competition witnessed explosive competitions and debates from 45 outstanding groups of competing topics. In which, it was divided into 3 councils with: 24 topics in the Economics - Society council, 9 topics in the Engineering - Health council, and 12 topics in the Language council.
According to the representative of the Organizing Committee, the topics participating in season 11 were highly appreciated for their diversity in fields, being research topics, creative and novel solutions from the student perspective on highly practical social issues. After the qualifying round, the School's Scientific Research Council selected 45 outstanding topics from 173 students to participate in the school-level final round.
In particular, this year's final is also a "race" of ideas and topics exploiting AI technology and AI applications in developing highly practical topics serving socio-economic aspects, community tourism, health tourism or useful products for health. In addition, many topics are evaluated as novel, associated with the pace of digital technology, current issues on sustainable development that can be applied to serve the community and startups.

Some topics with practical applications with AI integration include: Application of AI technology integration to provide information and exchange accommodation for tourists in Hue and Da Nang; Application of Industry 4.0 technology to serve the development of health tourism in Da Nang city; Research on factors affecting consumers' intention to use automatic delivery robots in last-mile delivery in Da Nang; Research on the impact of virtual try-on technology on consumers' purchase intention: applied to makeup cosmetics; Factors affecting the organization of business accounting work in the digital transformation period in Da Nang city; ...
Topics that are practical product research also attract attention such as: Research on the formulation of Ibuprofen 5% cream; Research on the formulation of Curcumin 95% and Vitamin E cream; Development and application of a method for quantifying the preservative Methylparaben by high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC); Survey of some factors affecting the processing of bottled purple velvet tea; Evaluation of total Flavonoid content on some vegetables grown in two localities of Da Nang and Quang Nam; ...

Within the framework of the competition, a space for displaying science and technology was also organized in the lobby with posters of topics and research results participating in this year's competition.
The announcement and award ceremony of the 11th Dong A University Student Scientific Research Competition is expected to take place on June 10. The total prize value is up to 80 million VND, distributed according to groups of fields and potential product groups.
