From April 23 to May 7, 2025, Dong A University (UDA), Da Nang, had the honor of welcoming Prof. Abdessamad Kobi, a distinguished professor and representative of the University of Angers, France.
Prof. Kobi is a Full Professor at Polytech Angers, the School of Engineering at the University of Angers, where he leads the Master 2 ISMP program specializing in Quality and Operational Safety. He is also a senior member of the LARIS Laboratory (Laboratoire Angevin de Recherche en Ingénierie des Systèmes), focusing on reliability engineering and decision-making tools. With over 140 peer-reviewed publications and more than 2,100 citations, Prof. Kobi is a leading expert in areas such as statistical process control, predictive maintenance, data analysis, and Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.
Besides, Prof. Abdessamad Kobi is also a member of Permanent External Scientific Advisor of International Chair in DS&XAI, IAD, Dong A University.

During his visit, Prof. Kobi toured the UDA campus and held a productive meeting with Dr. Dinh Thanh Viet, Vice Rector of Dong A University. The discussions centered on fostering collaboration in research and teaching in the fields of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, as well as developing international student exchange programs.
The visit culminated in the signing of a Cooperation Agreement between the two University, marking a promising step toward a long-term academic partnership.
Dong A University looks forward to meaningful cooperation with the University of Angers in the near future.
