Prof. Salah BOURENNANE

Salah Bourennane is currently a Full Professor and has also held the position of Dean of Research at École Centrale Méditerranée, France. He previously served as Head of the Multidimensional Signals Group at the Fresnel Institute in Marseille. He has more than 35 years of research experience in the field of signal and image processing. His current research interests include statistical signal processing, array processing, image processing, remote sensing, artificial intelligence, tensor signal processing, and performance analysis. He has authored over 450 research papers in leading international journals and conferences, edited several books, and served as a guest editor for numerous special issues. He has served on the editorial boards of several international journals and conference proceedings, including International Journal of Signal Processing, Image Processing and Pattern Recognition, International Journal of Image and Signal Systems Engineering, Journal of Remote Sensing and Technology, and Remote Sensing, among others. He has also served on the technical program committees of many premier conferences and workshops, including Advanced Concepts for Intelligent Vision Systems, International Conference on Latent Variable Analysis and Signal Separation, and International Conference on Vision, Image and Signal Processing. He has been an organizer of several international conferences, such as the IEEE European Workshop on Visual Information Processing, the IEEE International Conference on Frontiers of Signal Processing, and the International Conference on Geoinformatics and Data Analysis held in Marseille. He has served as Principal Investigator on multiple major research projects, including industry-funded collaborations and competitive research programs. He received his Ph.D. degree in signal and image processing from the Institut National Polytechnique de Grenoble, France.
