We are thrilled to celebrate the success of Simon Degres and Victor Metayer as they conclude their international semester at IAD, Dong A University.

Simon and Victor are students from ENSAITS, University of Lille, France. They came to Vietnam as exchange students for their 4-month international semester. Being the 2 boys of Group 4, Victor and Simon also chose Topic 4: Fabric Defect Detection with Computer Vision to do the research.

This is the research that ended 4 months studying and experience at IAD, Dong A University. In their research, they applied rigorous Machine Learning algorithms to automate quality control in manufacturing. Then, they finished their presentation with the quite good remark from IAD's supervisors: Assist. Prof. Kim Duc TRAN and MPH. Tho NGUYEN.

Simon and Victor’s work exemplifies the practical application of AI in modern industry. It has been a pleasure hosting such talented students from France, and we are confident that the skills they gained in AI and Computer Vision will lead them to great heights.
