UDA Startup and Innovation 2025: A Journey of Ideas, Growth, and Determination

More than just a competition, UDA Startup and Innovation 2025 has become a six-month journey of persistence, creativity, and personal growth for students at Dong A University. With 207 students, 50 projects, and a rigorous training process, the program has helped young participants transform ideas into viable business models and reaffirm the spirit of entrepreneurship and innovation in higher education.

Entrepreneurship and innovation are not only about competition; they are about nurturing ambition, awakening potential, and shaping resilience. For students of Dong A University, the UDA Startup and Innovation 2025 marked such a journey, a chance to pursue their aspirations of creating the future.

After six months of challenges, the competition recorded impressive milestones:

  • 50 projects with 207 students entered the qualifying round.

  • 42 projects with 168 students advanced to a dynamic semi-final.

  • 15 outstanding projects with 55 finalists are now ready for the grand finale.

Behind every idea lies dedication and hard work. Throughout the program, students engaged in intensive training and mentoring with lecturers, industry experts, and businesses. They learned to go beyond brainstorming by developing Business Model Canvases (BMC), building Minimum Viable Products (MVPs), conducting one-on-one market research, and improving financial planning and strategic management skills.

With strong support from the university and its network of business partners, UDA Startup and Innovation has grown into more than just a platform for competition. It is a learning space where creativity meets practice, encouraging students to transform their ideas into feasible models with real-world value—affirming the entrepreneurial and innovative spirit that Dong A University seeks to foster in its academic community.
