MSc. Dac Hieu NGUYEN

Dac Hieu Nguyen is a Lecturer at the Department of Artificial Intelligence – Thuy Loi University and an active researcher at the International Research Institute for Artificial Intelligence and Data Science (IAD) - Dong A University. He received his Engineer's degree in Data Communication and Computer Networks and a Master of Engineering in Information Technology from Ha Noi University of Science and Technology. His Master's research focused on applying deep learning techniques to build a chatbot application for customer consultation.

Dac Hieu Nguyen has significant experience in both academic and industry settings. He is a member of Thuy Loi University's flood water level forecasting research team. At the International Research Institute for Artificial Intelligence and Data Science (IAD), he is eager to work on Data Science in Industry 5.0

Research Interests:

• Natural Language Processing (NLP): Sentiment analysis, named entity recognition (NER), speech processing, large language models, reinforcement learning from human feedback, applications of NLP in education and healthcare.
• Data Science in Industry 5.0: Smart Manufacturing, Wearable AI Devices, Workplace Health and Safety, Reliability Engineering.
• Predictive Analytics: Anomaly detection, decision support systems, demand forecasting, fault detection, trend detection.
• Big Data: Predictive analytics, data mining, text analytics, statistical analysis.

MS. Dac Hieu Nguyen's contribution to the Chair and other Chair members will gain new studies about Explainable Artificial Intelligence applications in intelligent wearable systems, manufacturing, and healthcare areas. His studies as a member of International Chair of DS and XAI perfectly align to reach Industry 5.0 in the future.
