[DS & XAI] IAD welcomes Mr. Kim Phuc Tran, Associate Professor at the ENSAIT & GEMTEX, France via the UDA International Chair program
The International Chair in Data Science and Explainable Artificial Intelligence held by Kim Phuc Tran, Associate Professor at the ENSAIT & GEMTEX, France, has obtained the support of the UDA International Chairs program. It will be co-directed by Kim Duc Tran, Permanent Vice Director of IAD.
The UDA International Chairs program will support Kim Phuc Tran's research activities and stay in Vietnam. The University will host him for 1 month per year from 2018 to 2028. In addition, UDA will provide scholarships so that junior members of UDA can do PhD. thesis at the University of Lille, ENSAIT, and GEMTEX, France under the supervision of Kim Phuc Tran.
The objective of the International Chair in Data Science and Explainable Artificial Intelligence will, therefore, carry out a series of studies and develop tools for Data Science and Explainable Artificial Intelligence. We aim to develop a roadmap that starts from Industry 4.0 to reach Industry 5.0 and beyond which drives sustainability. Studies about Industry 5.0 will focus on combining human creativity and craftsmanship with the speed, productivity, and consistency of AI systems.
The chair's research topics include:
