Ngày 27/4, Đại học Đông Á và Tổ chức The Most of Beautiful Tree, Hàn Quốc đã chính thức ký kết hợp tác triển khai giáo dục SDGs trong đại học và tạo dựng không gian văn hoá cho sinh viên. On April 27, Dong A University and The Most of Beautiful Tree organization, Korea concluded the agreement on cooperation in deploying the SDGs education in University and creating cultural space for students.
The agreement aims to promote cooperation in developing networks in schools and preparing for the implementation of SDGs education - education for sustainable development in the future. In addition to co-organizing seminars, joint research and campaigns to attract participation in SDGs education in the student community, the two sides also aim to promote the implementation of the task of "Building a pioneering university implementing SDGs education" to respond to climate change.
At the signing ceremony, The Most of Beautiful Tree also awarded a sponsorship of 10 million VND to the "Zero Waste Fund 2024" of the Faculty of Korean Language & Culture, Dong A University to carry out environmental activities.
Within the framework of this second cooperation, on April 26 and 27, Dong A University students also participated in activities in the Zero Waste series including 2 academic workshops, vegan cooking experiences and environmental cleaning activities around the campus.
It is known that The Most of Beautiful Tree Organization, Korea and Dong A University also signed a cooperation document towards sustainable development and establishing environmentally friendly infrastructure in August 2021.
Since the signing, many programs have been implemented among students such as environmental protection project orientation activities with guidance from experts of The Most of Beautiful Tree organization, implementing project website creation and participating in practical programs to clean up environmental waste, clean beaches, etc.
