On March 5, in Taiwan, Dong A University and Minghsin University of Science and Technology (Taiwan) officially signed a cooperation agreement to train human resources in the field of high technology.
The cooperation signing took place during the working visit program of the Da Nang city delegation in Taiwan led by the Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee, Mr Ho Ky Minh.
The cooperation is expected to be a premise for implementing specific content under the "special program for international technology talent education" (Intense program) promoted by Taiwan's Ministry of Education for international students major in high-tech fields: STEM, Finance and Semiconductor.
It is known that Intense programs implemented include: Bachelor's programs 2+2+i, 3+1+i; Master's program (1+1+i); Post-bachelor program (2 years). The program is for 3rd year, 4th year students and graduates of Dong A University with TOCFL foreign language level of A2 or higher. Along with tuition fees sponsored by the Taiwanese government, the network of businesses participating in the program also provides support for living expenses and internship and work opportunities while students study here.
At the end of the training course, students will receive a degree issued by Minghsin University of Science and Technology. Next, students also have the opportunity to work at businesses in the field in Taiwan before returning to Vietnam to develop their careers.
Within the framework of the working visit, Dong A University delegation also visited the Taiwan Semiconductor Research Institute (TSRI) with the Da Nang City Delegation.
