As part of a series of events celebrating the 50th anniversary of the two countries establishing diplomatic relations (1973-2023), on the afternoon of September 30, in Da Nang, the cultural exchange event "Vietnam - Japan Love Story" took place. . Attending this special exchange program were representatives of the Board of Directors of Dong A University: Mr. Luong Minh Sam - Chairman of the School Board and Dr. Ngo Quang Vinh - Vice Principal of the school.
At the ao dai performance in "Vietnam - Japan Love Story", 12 students of Dong A University wearing the collection of designer Anh Thu showed impressively and helped the collection exude its unique features which is beautiful cultural interference of the two countries.
In particular, the highlight of this program is the reenactment of a Vietnamese - Japanese wedding on stage performed by a young Vietnamese - Japanese couple (Le Chieu Duc and Mio Nakamura), directed by designer Anh Thu.
6 students from Dong A University participated in this performance with the hope of bringing to viewers the sweet memories of the love affair between Princess Ngoc Hoa and the Japanese businessman from Hoi An to Nagasaki in 16th century.
The cultural exchange program "Vietnam - Japan Love Story" brought many emotions, not only bringing profound stories through narration but also realistic images through each performance. In addition to contributing to adding color to the exchange, Dong A University students had another opportunity to learn about the "bond" of the strong relationship between Vietnam and Japan.
