On the morning of May 9, the 22 most promising projects of the contest "UDA's students with innovative ideas for start-up 2023" officially entered the second round with fiery debates.
Passing the preliminary round with 42 projects participating in the competition, the 22 best project groups of the contest "UDA's students with innovative ideas for start-ups 2023" have officially entered Round 2 - "Problem development” round.
Round 2 took place in 2 days: May 9 and May 10, each session had from 7 to 8 projects presented to the judges: Dr. Do Sinh – Vice Rector of the UDA, Dr. Vo Thi Kim Oanh - Lecturer of Faculty of Fundamental science, Dr. Bui Van Vien - Dean of Faculty of Business Administration and MSc. Le Phuoc Hoai Bao - Vice Dean of Faculty of Business Administration. In particular, this year's contest also has the presence of the guest judge: Mr. Nguyen Nam Hai - Co-founder and operating director of Selly Co., Ltd.
In this round, each group has 3-5 minutes to introduce their team members and 5 minutes to present the project. After that, the groups have 15 minutes to listen to suggestions and directions from the judges.
Not only received questions and suggestions from the judges, the contestants also brought an extremely lively atmosphere when constantly giving sharp and fiery counter-arrguments to their opponents.
As part of the competition's series of activities, the contestants also participated in many training sessions, including 2 intensive training courses on Business Model Canvas (BMC) and Pitching (Capital raising skills) from experts. Therefore, the organizers highly appreciate the preparation and performance of the groups of candidates; outstanding projects such as: NFT trading floor, Making bricks from recycled plastic, Miniature ecosystem, Building a control system for household appliances, healthy food model, etc.
The judges will choose from 10 to 15 best projects to continue to compete in the final round on June 15, 2023
