The First EAI Conference on Responsible Artificial Intelligence and Data Science 2024 (EAI RAIDS 2024) was successfully held at Dong A University, co-organized with the European Alliance for Innovation. The conference is currently being conducted on Springer.
The First EAI RAIDS 2024 Conference focuses on the fields of Responsible Artificial Intelligence and Data Science in the era of Industry 5.0, promoting AI that is transparent, trustworthy, humane, and safe for humans and autonomous systems.
The editors of the publication are: Prof. Sébastien Thomassey, Assoc. Prof. Kim-Phuc Tran, Prof. Frédéric Vanderhaegen and Prof. Tsan-Ming Choi, leading experts in the fields of AI, data, and intelligent systems. This is a large, meaningful and international academic event. It is the result of the cooperation between the IAD Institute, the University of East Asia and the European Alliance for Innovation (EAI).
The results of the conference delved into the key areas of Responsible Artificial Intelligence such as transparent AI, federated learning and human-centered AI, and proposed many effective solutions to enhance system safety, optimize production and promote sustainable development in the era of Industry 5.0.
In the future, research directions will continue to expand, focusing on additional areas such as self-supervised learning, quantum machine learning, human-centered AI, AI for trustworthy autonomous systems, and digital twins in smart manufacturing. These topics promise to bring new advances in combining AI, data, and ethics to build a more sustainable and safer industry.
