MS. Viet Hieu TRAN

Viet Hieu Tran is a Permanent Lecturer at the Faculty of Information Technology and a Permanent Researcher member of the International Research Institute for Artificial Intelligence and Data Science at Dong A University. He received his Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Hue University of Sciences and his Master's degree in Mathematics (specializing in Algebra and Number Theory) from Hue University of Education. Additionally, he is pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science at Danang University of Technology. Viet Hieu Tran was the entrance valedictorian of the Faculty of Mathematics at Hue University of Sciences in 2013, receiving commendations and scholarships from Hue University. He also won third prize in Mathematics at the national student mathematics Olympic competition in 2016 and 2017.

Currently, Viet Hieu Tran is responsible for teaching courses such as Advanced Mathematics, Discrete Mathematics, Programming Techniques, Python Programming, Machine Learning with Python, and Deep Learning with Python at Dong A University. He established and coaches the student Mathematics Olympic team, which participates in national competitions annually. Viet Hieu Tran actively collaborates with colleagues on various interdisciplinary projects, focusing on the application of artificial intelligence and data science in solving complex real-world problems.

​MS. Viet Hieu TRAN's contribution to the Chair and other Chair members will gain new studies about Explainable Artificial Intelligence applications in intelligent wearable systems, manufacturing, and healthcare areas. His studies and studies at IAD perfectly align to reach Industry 5.0 in the future.
